I always wondered why some online casinos got a bad rep and never really had experienced any major issues with the casinos that I've played at online until recently.

I'm not going to say which online casino it was as the issue was resolved and I'm happy once again and continuing to play as though nothing actually happened. The fact is that we as players whenever we expereince any issues that frustrate us will always point our fingers at the casino which is totally acceptable and something that I do myself but sometimes when issues do arise it's because we as players don't read the fine print. Sometimes I wish the find print though was in bold and emphasized to us especially when it's something to do with a key issue. I myself am a big fan of playing at online casinos and love the casinos that I play at but sometimes these little issues piss me off.

The issue for me was that I won a significant amount that I wanted to cash out all at once because at the end of the day you never really know how long a casino is going to be around for lucky for me the ones that I play at have been around for a long time and they're rather large online casino brands so I think I can trust that they'll be around for some time yet to come. Anyways bottom line was that they didn't want to pay me all the money all at once. So what I did was simply contact them end emphasized that fact that I've been a player with them for years and that I'd look for somewhere else to gamble online if they weren't willing to pay me my money all at one time. Well to say the least it wasn't that long after that they were willing to pay me the full sum which I was able to receive from them. I'm very pleased with the outcome at this point and just wanted to share the fact that as a players we do weild some power even if the casinos online do have rules and policies that they claim are written in stone.

I think that getting paid out in small increments is pretty standard at online casinos so I'm happy that they were willing to circumvent this policy that is so predominant in the online casino world you're very fortunate.

There are ton's of other reasons why online casinos get bad reps though. I don't think that this is necessarily a reason why an online casino should get a bad rep. I think that if they didn't pay you period then that's one that can be ticked off as a reason, if they cheat, if they have bad customer support, if the software that the casino is operated on has lots of bugs. I think that if I thought long and hard on it that I could build a pretty extensive list of reasons as to why an online casino could be considered to have developed a bad rep.

In general the negative stigma associated with a few complaints actually does a lot of damage to online casinos. In some cases it's hard to know whose good and can be trusted as an online casino and who really can't. In general as a rule of thumb I look at which casinos get the most representation online and will generally play at these casinos!

I agree there are so many variables but there are some primary variables involved first and foremost as mentioned in my first post that should be looked at as being the key reasons as to why some online casinos get a bad rep!

One of the biggest things that I can think of is the fact that's already been mentioned is the negative publicity that online casinos get by one or two players that complain about things that aren't really even issues. I think this happens a lot.
