I've been playing at an online casino for some time that I was actually referred to by this sit Casino Advisor some time back and everything has been going smooth, I've been having lots of fun playing with them. Today I tried to make a larger deposit with my credit card and was requested to send a fax back form along with a photocopy of the front and back of my credit card in addition a drivers license or government issued ID and utility bill. This is kind of a pain in the you know what! I assume it's a matter of security or something for them as I was trying to make a larger deposit or something but still it's not very convenient.

I'm sure that some of you out there have experienced the fax back form and just wanted to know if it's more worth it that I just compile the information they've requested and send it into them or should I just look to go somewhere else to play?

To be honest with you most online casinos these days that accept US players and even those who don't that focus on international business generally require that they have the fax back forms filled out and sent in. It's how they manage to deal with fraud issues that surround people depositing lots of money then calling up their bank and charging back their casino transactions. I think that it's not a bad thing necessarily as they're able to then rest assured that with bigger deposits that players simply aren't going to play through a lot of money and then reverse the charges.

Regardless of where you go I think you'll encounter the fact that online casinos are going to be asking you for this.

I'm in agreement with Milton on this one... Pretty much all the casinos that I currently play at have requested this sort of due diligence information from me so it's not unusual or anything that you're been asked for it. It's not only to verfiy the credit card details if you are using a credit card it's more to verify who you say you are I would say. This is both beneficial and re-assuring for casinos to know both when you're depositing money into the casino or withdrawing funds regardless of the payment method you choose for either function.

It definitely makes sense. You'd be wasting your time playing elsewhere as I guarantee you that you'll find out that after you've deposited a certain amount or even before you're able to you'll be contacted by the casinos customer support and fraud prevention team and asked to fill out the form with necessary details attached and send it back to them.
