I know that a big struggle for every player out there regardless of whether they view online casino gambling as a form of entertainment or not is when to quit and setting limits for themselves that they don't exceed.

As someone whose been playing at online casinos for quite some time now I have found a solution that works for me that really helps me to control my spending habits when playing at online casinos and it's simple and something that everyone can do.

Although as a new player at online casinos it's wise to play at many casinos so you can see what each has to offer from the games to the various payment options, etc... if you're trying to control your spending online you're much better off playing at one casino. Playing at one casino gives you far more control over setting limits and controlling your spending habit as many of us out there have used secondary or tertiary casinos we play at to chase losses and try to make up from our losses at another casino. Anyways bottom line is that for the purpose of controling how much you spend online playing at one casino is better.

When I mentioned about setting limits. When you play at one casino you can easily call the customer support department at the online casino you're playing at and request that they apply a spending limit on your account where you won't be able to deposit more then a certain amount of money in a pre-defined period of time. The nice thing is that you can set the pre-defined period of time. My suggestion is to set monthly intervals. Say you don't want to spend more then $1000 / month at the online casino you're playing at well if you were to call the customer support team at your casino of choice and mention this they'd be able to apply this limit to your account.

The other thing that I wanted to mention that's of benefit when it comes to playing at one online casino vs. many is that the benefit from loyalty rewards points is far better if you play at one casino then at several. You can accumulate these points quicker and transfer them into real money credits later on.

Thanks that's actually good advise. I've always played at more then one casino but what you say makes sense. I have problems sometimes when I get carried away so I know what it's like to deal with this. Additionally your point about basically maintaining a run up of loyalty points at one casino being better then many is very much true. Especially since many online casinos have tiered loyalty rewards systems in place.

Good post... I've always found the same thing I used to play at many online casinos but I've started consolidating and playing only at one or two. I know you mentioned that we should be playing at one but sometimes you just can't cause one software provider may have some games that you really love to play while others may not so you have to play at more then one casino sometimes in order to get to play your favorite casino games.

If we should all be so fortunate to have the will power to play only at one casino. I currently play at many online casinos although there are a few of them that I consider to be the main ones that I play at.

I think what you're describing is a good approach to prevent problem gambling habits from developing for some but at the same time if someone has tendencies towards gambling and addictive habits they'll just play more at one casino vs. many. You can still lose just as much money playing at one casino as playing at many.
