My name is Marieanne and I'm new to online casinos and gambling on the internet. I'm very interested in playing and will download and install my first casino first but before I begin I just wanted to ask the community here as to how similar online casinos are to the real thing. I've found that none of the land based casinos that I usually play at offer an online casino yet is there any reason for that in particular? I've looked at some of the games at this one casino called Slots Galore that I saw advertised here on Casino Advisor which look really fun and I'm excited to play but before I do I also want to know what my expectations should be like with regards to playing at online casinos.

Well it depends on what aspect of gaming you enjoy as there's certain things that you'll get in land based casinos that you won't necessarily get in online casinos. If you're a big fan of table games and games like craps and roulette a big part of the fun with these games is being around other players and the excitement in playing these kinds of games.

However the slots games that you'll typically find in online casino sites are very good and entertaining. What's more is that online casinos also offer slots tournaments which you don't find very much of in land based casinos or at least the ones that I go to and have visited. I think that you'll really enjoy playing at casino sites online. You don't need to spend an incredible amount of money online to check it out for yourself and see how you like it. In fact my suggestion would be to do just that and try playing at some of them and only deposit like $20 - $50 to see how you like it before playing more and depositing larger amounts.
