With more and more online casino software platforms growing to well over 400 games I find that sometimes it's difficult to find a game that's described to me by another player that I may have forgotten the name of but remember the general theme of.

Does anyone know if any of the software providers out there currently have a search feature directly within their online casino software or are planning on implementing something like this. If not I definitely think it would be something that's worth while for them to integrate as it would certainly help find games.

I think that also breaking out games into different classes and categories would be advisable as well. Most listings for casino games when you enter into any online casinos lobby are rather vague. Would be nice to have some additional details about the game before you start in playing in. I know that Wizard Gaming does a pretty good job of displaying information about the casino games they have available within their casino lobby.

How often do you find yourselves looking for games by name? I personally am a bit different I beleive at least

For me when searching of new games to play I break it down by games with free spins, bonuses, and sometimes when looking at the listing mode (not graphics games listing) in Microgaming casinos I look at the jackpot values as well.

I don't really think that I'd make use of such a feature. I think that for newbies it may come in handy but for most players I doubt it would be of much value.

The ability to select games in the popular / favorite games listings is a good one as I find myself generally playing either new games that Microgaming has released or alternatively ones that I've already played before that reside in the favorite games section.

Yeah I don't really know how much I'd use such a feature either... I think that making the lobby and games easy to navigate and find what you're looking for should be a priority of software providers over a search feature. I think that a search feature is only worth while if you know what you're looking for by name...

I think that when the library of online casino games that are available reaches a certain point the way that these are to be navigated has to change along with it.

I do agree and think that a search feature would be idea. I think in many ways breaking things up into genre's of games would be a good method of doing this as well as a straight free form search may not be the best as players many not know exactly what the name of the game that they're looking for is.

A search feature would most certainly make it easier to find what you're looking for in Microgaming's vast library of games. I think that better categorization would be ideal as well!
