Out of the online casino software providers MGS has for a long time been one of my favorites. They have been so for many reasons. Largely it's because of the frequency of their game releases. If you look at most providers out there they do continue to release new games to their suites however the frequency of their game releases is in general not every month which for the most part you'll find is in fact the case with Microgaming. This is something I really like about them as a provider. I do notice that Playtech has really been stepping up their game lately and although they're not releasing games at the same monthly intervals as Microgaming they're doing a good job none the less and releasing games in batches of 10 - 15 games on average from what I've found. The last two batches of games they've released were incredible I really and honestly can't get enough of these new games. Most of the Marvel themed games they've developed really blow that of what Cryptologic's done out of the water and coming from someone who in general is an avid Microgaming fan I would have to say that these days most of my time is spent playing at Playtech casinos and these new games. Some of my favorites include X-Men, Daredevil, Ironman and Fantastic Four. If you haven't played these games as of yet and are able to due to not being restricted by the country you live in it's highly suggested that you give em a shot as I think that you'll find you won't be disappointed. Visually the games are great, game play wise they're incredible as well and overall the entire gaming experience in these new games that Playtech has been releasing are really good.

There's no doubt that there's a lot of competition and these gaming companies are definitely fighting for turf and the players that are out there and obviously the casino software with the best games are going to make the casinos the most money and then in turn that of the software companies as well. I think it's really great though as a player merely because I get more variety more often and the games that I can play these days are much better, more advanced and way more entertaining then what was on the market say only one year back.

Both providers offer great games. I think that I'm a big fan of both to be honest but in truth I thin that Playtech has exceeded Microgaming in terms of game features. Sure they still don't offer any slots tournaments from what I've seen at any of the Playtech casinos but the new games if you look at it game for game are better in my opinion at Playtech online casinos these days.

Certainly at this point it will be a tug of war between the two providers and others that are still prominent in the market. Cryptologic is still producing good games although they're not at part with the other two providers. I'm sure that more and more will come out as well. RTG has even been doing more with their games that are pretty impressive compared to their old games.

I know that some of you here might think that I'm pretty cheesy but one of my new favorite games is the Cute and Fluffy video slot game that they're offering at Playtech internet casinos. It's really cute and a fun game that I think that most of the ladies out there will enjoy playing. The features in the game for bonuses are really interesting and fun as well.

Microgaming online casino software is still great and I'm a big supporter of them.

There's really no doubt that both software providers have come a long way. The competition is definitely heating up between Playtech and Microgaming though. I beleive that this is a good thing though. I think that the one big thing that Playtech is missing out on is tournament play and I'm kind of puzzled as to why they're not offering online casino slots, blackjack and other game tournaments as of yet.

The features in a lot of the new Microgaming video slots games are really good so I would have to lean towards MGS casino slots as being better as I've always been a much bigger fan of Microgaming software just in general. I do however think that Playtech has upped their game and are now really starting to show their true colors in terms of what they're capable of doing.
