I know that online casinos have become very popular over the past decade and that they could very well be a lot of fun to play on but I'm curious to know one thing before I consider even playing at an online casino. When playing at casinos in Vegas when I go which is about 3 - 4 times a year I really enjoy playing the progressive games where you can win up to and over 1.0 million dollars and in some cases there are tons of these different progressive games at the casinos that I go to. I especially love playing the ones that are like at 12+ million which I think that there's one that I play quite often when I'm there.

So is there any progressive games at casinos online that have jackpots and progressive slots that are in excess of a million bucks. I mean I'll probably still give it a shot and try playing these kinds of games but I just wanted to know to be sure as I know that there are lots of progressive slots games in land casinos that are really fun to play.

I also like all sorts of other games but my second favorite game to play are blackjack type games which I just assume there would be available at internet casino gaming sites.

The answer is yes there are a number of progressive jackpot games that are available at online casinos that are into the millions of dollars. Virtually every casino software provider out there offers networked progressives meaning that each of the casinos that are powered a specific software provider will offer such progressives and that players playing contribute to the progressive jackpot.

Unfortunately there are no progressive jackpots however at online casinos in the size that you're looking for necessarily. I don't think that there's ever been a progressive jackpot online that's been won that's been in excess of say a couple of million dollars as most.

If you're from the USA I suggest that you check out either Realtime Gaming online casinos or Vegas Technology online casinos and if you're from anywhere else I think that you'll enjoy Microgaming progressives as they generally have progressive games with the highest jackpot prizes overall. I think that either way that you'll find some decent progressive games that you can check out and play. I'm assuming that you're from the US as if you were from else where I wouldn't assume that you'd be hitting up Vegas 3 -4 times a year.

As for blackjack you're correct on that there's tons of great blackjack variants that can be found at online casinos that you can check out and play on.

I think actually that one of the largest wins that was ever won while playing an online casino progressive game was won at a Microgaming casino and was something like 3 to 4 million Euros which at the time was probably more like 5 or 6 million USD so there's no doubt that the progressive jackpots at online casinos can grow to be rather large!

Wouldn't that just be the dream. Would be fantastic if I was able to win a million dollars on a progressive would be something else being able to retire and just relax for the rest of my life, lol... it's a dream though and just that. I really don't think that it's all that easy to win these progressives and think that players who do win them out of the blue when they're not even trying just how you hear about it when it happens in Vegas when they drop a couple bucks into a machine and presto they hit the jackpot.

I too would love to win a big jackpot like that some day hopefully one of us will see such an opportunity one day!

People have definitely won sums that are in excess of a million dollars but I would say that realistically that it's rather rare to happen mainly because there aren't too many jackpots that climb to these numbers and I would say that the number of people that play at online casinos is less then what you'd typically find at land casinos.

People do win all the time mostly the million dollar jackpot wins are a few times a year but there are tons of wins that are up to a million bucks that happen quite regularly actually!
