Playing online casino slots is fun and all however all the games that casinos offer both online and at land casinos from what I've seen are strictly games of chance with no element of skill to them whatsoever. Does anyone know if there are any games that online casinos offer that are slots games that have a certain element of skill to them.

I think that this would make playing online casino slots games far more interesting to me as right now I find that I get too board way too quickly as just sitting there and pushing a button without ever having to think does get old rather fast.

If you know of a game or have played a slot game that does have a skill component to it would be greatly appreciated if you'd share it with me.

That would be fantastic... I've never seen or heard of any such games myself that are like what you describe but if there are some games like this it will certainly be brought up by other members (hopefully) here on CasinoAdvisor.

I think that the idea of having slots games that carried an element of skill would be great for us but casinos would never approve them as plausible games. The reason being this would be the case in my opinion would really be the fact that casinos like to know what the expected return is on the games they offer games that offer an element of skill would make it very difficult to determine the true payout of a game overtime and thus would not likely be included. All slots games that are added to a casinos platform are designed to yield a certain return to player percentage and a certain house hold percentage so the skill idea although cool to us as players probably wouldn't fly with them.

Thanks everyone... I originally had thought that games like Jenga that I saw that Cryptologic was offering at InterCasino or bejeweled were actually skill games of sorts but then I realized that this wasn't really the case as these games had no skill component to them whatsoever.

The skill factor to a slot game would likely throw off any ability for casinos to know approximately where their returns would fall. So I don't really think that they'll start doing this kind of thing although it would be cool as it would potentially give you an edge and a chance at better returns as though you were for example playing blackjack or baccarat.
