Online casinos, bingo, poker and sports betting are all very popular and make up for the vast majority of internet betting and the multi-billion dollar industry that is the online gambling industry. I know that poker is extremely popular as is the same with poker and sports wagering, I'm not quite sure about bingo though. Anyhow I'm interested in knowing what the most popular type of online gambling is and a comparison of the different gambling areas online. This is just a question out of curiosity as I'm interested in knowing. I would personally say that it would be poker, sports, casino then bingo but I'm not sure whether that order would be correct.

I would say that I would order the most to least popular as the following but I'm not sure as I have no data to support this it's more of a hunch:

- Poker
- Casino
- Sports Betting
- Bingo
- Skill Gaming (backgammon, etc...)

Unless there's people who work in the industry here on the board I'm not sure you'll get a really accurate answer but more just what people think...

Well I would say that first comes poker then sports then casino and then the rest of the different avenues of the gambling industry. The industry is huge no doubt... I think that sports betting would be biggest first and foremost but there are definitely more problems with sport betting then with the other areas of gambling in the United States.

... i think poker wins the first place, new players even use online systems to learn how to play.... bingo, mmm not so sure, i haven't try it yet.

I would say that if we're talking about it from an international market standpoint and dollars for dollars then that sports wagering would come first as the most popular form of online gambling followed by poker then online casinos then bingo and then everything else that involves gambling online.

I think that everyone that's on this site or that continues majorly will probably say that their favorite type of gambling online is at that of online casinos but I agree that either poker or sports betting is a much bigger industry online then online casinos. I don't really know for sure but sports betting has been around for longer and is in general a huge money maker where much larger amounts change hands and as for poker well poker's a huge phenomenon right now and will likely continue to be although I think that the fad of it all is starting to die down a bit!
