I must say that online casino slots are definitely looser then those in Las Vegas and other land based casino gaming destinations. I just got back from Vegas and was playing quite a bit of slots at the Wynn and Caesar's Palace and there's on thing that you can most definitely notice and that's when playing online you're getting a better return and are able to play much longer. If found that I was dropping money so quickly playing slots at the Wynn. Although Caesar's wasn't as bad it was still pretty crummy returns if you ask me.

I understand that the reasoning behind his is obviously that the casino needs to make more money then online casinos do in order to offset the the large infrastructure and operational costs of managing a land based casino but when payouts are under 80% on the slots in land based casinos it really is discouraging and not really fun to play. Perhaps I had a bad run of the games I was playing but the win frequency was definitely off as was the payout. I asked a few other people around and they mentioned they thought the same thing.

Anyways the point is that online casino slots are far looser in my opinion then those found in land based casinos which definitely makes for a better entertainment value for your dollar. Additionally the comps that are offered online are far better as an incentive then those that land based casinos offer. I wonder if when online casino gambling is regulated in the United States whether they'd do away with the bonuses and other promotional offerings made available currently or whether sign-up bonuses, monthly bonuses and other forms of bonus incentives will still be around. My assumption would be that they would have to keep them as there will still be an offshore market for gaming. As an American I'd prefer playing at an offshore casino anyways so as to avoid paying taxes on any of the winnings that I generate while playing. Obviously when regulation comes into play when we win online we'll likely be obligated to pay taxes on our winnings...

Couldn't agree with you more! I love playing online but when I visit a land based casino I really see how much more fair online casinos are. There's no question that terrestrial casinos have far more expenses which makes sense as to why their payout percentages within their slots games are lower.

I think that as more big companies do get involved online the payout percentages at online casinos will be higher as there will still be competition as you mention by offshore gaming companies.

I'm still new to this whole world of online casino gambling and I agree and love the fact that slots online offer better payout percentages then what you'd typically find in land based casinos... I've been winning quite a bit on some of the slots that I've been playing. More then that though I find some of these games to be really fun it's easy to see how people get caught up in it all and become addicts.
