Post The Best Backgammon Teacher
GNU BG is a free backgammon software that you can download. You can use it as a tutor-it will teach you all the rules of the game from the first roll to the bearing off at the end. You can use it as an opponent-choose a skill level and play against the computer to strengthen your skills. GNU even analyzes your games and gives you pointers on how you can improve your game, shares strategies and can even tell you the best move in a given situation. And the best part about GNU is that it's free! You can find this software available for download in many places online-just do a search for gnu backgammon in any search engine.

I learned to play the game before the amazing world of online backgammon was created, but if it had been around I would have chosen this method of learning, hands down! Even though I am pretty confident with every aspect of my game I too use GNU for advice on occasion!

I don't think that too many people here on the site have an interest in backgammon as it's more of a skill game and I've found that most of the people that I've met or read posts or comments they've made are more interested in playing slots type games online.
