Microgaming has recently pushed out a few games that they've added to their library of online casino games that focus on having all scatter symbols to make for payouts as opposed to the norm which is generally a combination of paylines and scatters. Paylines make for standard game wins where as scatters generally have a payout applied to them in addition to being the symbols that enter you into the bonus rounds whether it be free spins or other.

Having played these games at Micro casinos I've found that I'm not as into them as I am into the standard video slot games that feature payline wins. I find that these games in particular are far easier to play and view win mappings on then the all scatter games. As a rule for a slot game and a feature or difference if you want to call it that I'm not all that keen on these games. Surely there are people out there that love these kinds of games however I for one like games that range from 25 - 40 paylines at most. Having the option of playing for 243 combination's is great but at the same time it just makes things more confusing.

BTW: Vegas Technology has a similar game to this called Grail Maiden which is the same in concept in that it only offers scatter payouts as opposed to a combination of both. I think that Microgaming and Vegas Technology are the only two providers that offer games like this where it's all scatter payouts.

I myself am a big fan of Microgaming powered online casinos and have to say that I on the other hand don't really mind these games. Don't get me wrong I'm not the biggest fan and agree with some of your points but none the less I do still play 243 way to win slots like Burning Desire which I find to be quite interesting. I read on another site that they are introducing another one of these games this December called Alaskan fishing which is another 243 ways to win slot which means that there are some players out there who do like the game a lot and enough for Microgaming to warrant building another one.

I've tried and played the Grail Maiden game and found it to be definitely one of the better if not the best Vegas Technology powered online casino video slot game that they currently offer. I've been a big fan of this new Crazy Slots casino that has been released and have been playing it there. I think that the concept is great but it does get old after a while as does any new concept eventually. I like paylines as well though so I'm with you guys.
