Post Wlliam Hill Online Casino avoid them if possible!
If you're from the UK like me then you're familiar with the William Hill brand. The fact is that their online casino and gaming presence online isn't near to the caliber and exceptional reputation they have in the offline world.

I've been playing with and their online casino though all the transitions... from when they were with Boss Media to Cryptologic and now to Playtech. The fact is that it's frustrating and no longer worth my time and nor should it be yours. In my eyes they have become one of the least consistent providers out there and are no longer reliable. More then that they shut down my account for no apparent reason then after several attempts at communicating with them I found them to be rude and abrasive on the phone. This isn't the way other online casinos I play at treat their players. Anyways I've given them chances time and time again but as I said it's no longer worth it...

Currently I've moved from playing with them to playing at Platinum Play casino which is a Microgaming powered online casino and the experience has been great. Additionally their games are far better in quality and reliability then any of the software's that William Hill used to run off.

So I just wanted to share my experiences with William Hill and let people know what to expect. I didn't know that they were so bad online years back when I started with them... now I do though and will likely never play on any of their brands. Everyone has the right to know about them and the kind of behavior and service that can be expected from them.

Cheers,
Elanor

I've never been a fan of William Hill neither offline nor online. I think that you've made the right choice Elanor. Playtech offers good software so I would imagine that the change would have been for the better and that if you would have stuck around you probably would have seen some of the benefits of the switch but when they treat you like you say they do what's the point...

Anyways Platinum Play's a good casino so good choice on that part. In fact all of the Fortune Lounge casinos are rather good online casinos... keep that in mind if you see some other casinos that are a part of their group that are offering some interesting promotions that you may want to take advantage of!

I've never been impressed with them. It's surprising that such a larger gaming group would have even considered being on the Boss Media platform. Albeit it was a while back still their software was crap from the beginning. Anyways I don't play at William Hill or any of their properties nor would I ever.

Cheers,
GP

I haven't been too impressed with them as of late either. I used to really enjoy the idea of playing at casinos operated by bigger brands but I'm finding more and more that the smaller operators have a much better touch and are far more capable of making things happen whether it be extra bonus money that you may be asking for, pace at which your payouts are processed, etc...

William Hill albeit a bit brand has become complacent and I beleive that they are definitely going down hill because of it.

I've always sort of thought of William Hill to be the reputable brand in the UK. I guess that reputation seems to be fading away based on what you're all saying here. -rich
