Post Being considered a casino online bonus abuser?
Hi everyone,

It's been a while since my last post but I have a question about online casinos that I think is valid and worthy of asking. I've read some info about how people can be considered bonus abusers who basically just go into online casinos for the sole purpose of taking advantage of the bonuses that they offer and then cashing out without the intention of ever continuing to play. Then there's someone whose called a bonus hunter and I'm not quite sure if there's a distinction between the two of them and I'm unclear on the subject and would like some clarification if anyone knows what the difference between these two is in fact.

It's not a big deal but I think that I may have become a bonus hunter :D which I don't beleive nearly as bad as a bonus abuser.

Thanks!

Ray

Hey Ray,

Well you were kind of on the right track... except that a bonus abuser is someone that attempts to game the system by utilizing the bonus and weak bonus terms and conditions / requirements to gain an advantage over the casino and reap benefits that would otherwise cause the casino some serious financial issues if everyone were to do it. Basically if you're a bonus abuser and your caught for doing that kind of a thing I beleive that they'll shut down your account permanently.

Bonus hunting isn't bad at all bonus hunters are people that just want to take advantage of the bonuses that are offered by an online casino. If for example you go and just play at a casino take advantage of their bonus leave and never come back but go to another casino and do the same thing I think that conventionally you'd be considered a bonus hunter.

So if you're doing the above and not the latter then you'd be considered a bonus hunter. I think I've read enough of your posts here on the site to deduce that you're actually a bonus hunter and not abuser as you seem like a nice guy - Andy

I don't think that is possible to game the systems any more. Because of how they go about separating bonus balances and cash balances these days it's not as easy to do that sort of thing any more. I think that it's well worth it to just take advantage of bonuses as you see fit as I said I don't think there's a way to cheat the systems any more. Unless of course the casino you're playing at is on some sort of an old school type setup in which case it may be possible then.

Agreed nothing to worry about from what you're saying. I also agree that it's become more difficult to compromise the bonus schemes that are in place (not that I'd ever try that of course ;)).

Bonus abusers are still definitely out there and apparently they're run in more organized manners now like where rings of people come in and massively abuse say a blackjack bonus and take the casino for a whole whack of cash and then never come back. So I do still think it happens but more with certain games and particularly with games like blackjack.

Agreed wouldn't worry about it too much dude... just have fun playing and do what you do. If you do encounter a problem play as though you were innocent to begin with because you were :)

I too am on board with the views presented by you guys. I don't think that there's any need to worry about anything in reality. I beleive that if you're going to be honest about just taking a bonus and not trying to game the system then online casinos should be happy that you're playing with them rather then attempting to ban you or do something stupid like that!
