Something that I've noticed recently is that online casinos are using fewer pop-up windows on both their sites and also affiliates are using far less of them as well. This to me is a step forward in advertising for online casinos as to me there's nothing more annoying then the pop-up windows. There are still several industries that do loads of popup windows but I think it's something that is loosing ground as an advertising technique. Some online casinos still do it but I really don't think it helps lead to bringing in new players to the casino and does quite the opposite as it annoys people by forcing them to view a window that they likely didn't care to see.

There used to be a time where pop-up were a predominant part of internet marketing as a whole. Since there are more and more anti-annoyance software's that come installed on people's PC's my though on it is that the online casino industry and most other industries out there realize that they get less value for these sort of advertisements and rather then keep them around because they get less value out of them they're just scrapping them all together.

Pop-ups sure are annoying especially when you get those repetitive ones. I still find that a lot of online casinos use these kinds of popup windows to try to market and promote to players. Maybe it's just the casinos that I visit, lol...

I'm with you guys pop up windows or any kind of marketing technique that's persistent and annoying is not an effective marketing tool and plus we all hate them... I think that casinos are realizing this finally!

I don't so much mind them so long as they're relevant to the activities I'm engaged in at the time. I do however hate any form of advertising that is overly intrusive and in your face animation going on within.

Agreed... these pop ups are generally so darn annoying that they do more damage then the do good. Hopefully this is the motivation behind why they're stopping to present them on sites.

Pop-ups can be a real pain! But I once saw a pop-up for Thai Brides, clicked it and now I have Kahuli in my life. She's one special gal and only cost me a $201299!

I really wish that they'd just do away with them all together as some of the websites you visit and some online casino software still uses popups. The worst thing of all though is that a lot of the time I've found that the popups or more importantly content that's seen within the popups will freeze from time to time making it even worse.

Well the gaming industry has to adjust as time goes by. Through probably market surveys they found out that pop-ups do annoy players. Most of the time players wants to get to where the action is and not be diverted their attention in any way.

Many online casino software's has its own advertising using pop-ups to promote their site, i don't blame other software companies because its their own strategic way in every casino games, on the other hand its really irritates me when a pop-up appear on my screen obviously its interrupting me while playing.

I was fed up of these pop-ups. They were continuously annoying on my computer. So, I took the decision to promote it and I found the other way for it i.e. the wild jack casino.

For me pop ups are always annoying.

I think most of visitors never like to see popup when they enter to site.
