This is first-rate, and that is a meaningful statement when you consider that Wizard, which was in a development phase for a while before breaking out its initial collection of games, is, after all, a newcomer to the online casino software field. The safety and security are there, and that is of no small concern to the player. There are also some very sharp graphics, a nice theme, a minimum of clutter, sound controls and the ability to put the system into AutoPlay mode to make things easier for players who want to have less actual interaction with the software.

Easy to Understand (9)

Slot games are generally not difficult to gain a grasp of; mostly it's a matter of understanding the bonus game and what it takes to get there. In the Lizard Lounge, you need to get Firebirds on reels 2, 3 and 4 to trigger the bonus situation. Just remember that the wild (the Pepper Spray Girl - we love that one) does not substitute for the Firebird bonus icon (or the scatter, for that matter).

Graphics & Sounds (9)

For a company in its early stages, it is impressive for Wizard to come out of the box with such impressive graphics. Some people underestimate the artistic design of graphics as an overall contributor to the atmosphere, but with this game in particular the use of caricature will keep you chuckling throughout. Aside from that, the symbols and icons are clear and vivid. There is no useless stuff on the interface. The sounds, of course, carry the "disco" theme, and you can turn them on and off as you wish.

Theme and Concept (10)

Very strong and very amusing. You're going to run across some very familiar icons of the disco era, like the Disco Ball (don't drink heavily and look at it directly), the Money Clip, and the Firebird (wasn't that big once?). And the game has created some interesting characters, including Tino, Rocko (didn't we all know one?) the Party Girl, Donnie and Joe, and of course, our favorite, the Pepper Spray Girl. She's "wild," in more ways than one!

AutoPlay is available, and that is pretty useful for the player who wants to essentially repeat the activity on each spin, because it allows you, as the player, to have a minimum of activity with the software. The Lounge Lizard Bonus Game offers an opportunity to cash some bonuses, including the "Jackpot Kiss" by selecting from a number of silhouette icons that are presented on the screen. And hey, even if you wind up with the Booby Prize (which, if you spent time in discos you hopefully kept to a minimum), you just get returned back to the regular game. The only thing is, we wish there was a free spins game.

You can play up to ten coins per line. The minimum coin size is a penny and the maximum is .50. This is less than many games, and less than some of the offering designed by Wizard. There are 20 paylines, which is not too bad. When you consider some of the bonus payouts, and the Bonus Game itself, this is just fine.

The wild jackpot is 2500, and the scatter pays a high of 120. There are six symbols (see Regular Payout Schedule) in which the maximum payout for having five on a payline is 250 or more. The second highest line win prize is with the Tino symbol, which is 600. The highest overall jackpot you can win is 20,000 coins.
