Jeopardy Details Page
Software (9)
The Wagerworks software on which the Jeopardy slot game runs allows players to choose the paylines they want to wager on. The software also allows them to wager an unequal number of coins on different paylines. It allows them to switch on or switch off the audio and provides the Bet Max button. On the flip side, the spin speed cannot be adjusted and nor can the sound volume be adjusted. Also there is no Auto Play facility.
Easy to Understand (10)
Jeopardy is very easy to follow. The rules are clearly explained within the game. Players who need more information can check out the game rules section.
Graphics & Sounds (10)
The symbols on the reels are very simply constructed. However, Jeopardy is an audiovisual delight. The background music is different and the animations are accompanied by appropriate sounds.
Theme and Concept (10)
Jeopardy is a very popular television show and this slot game cashes in on that brand equity. The theme is executed very well. The Jeopardy Logo instantly identifies with the television show and so do the question categories represented by some of the symbols. However it is the bonus game played over two levels which really identifies with the television show by allowing players to stake their winnings in the Final Jeopardy feature.
Game Features (9)
Jeopardy has some excellent game features. The wild symbol offers payouts and also acts as a multiplier. The drawbacks are that there are no scatter payouts and no free spins bonus round. The Jeopardy Bonus game played over two levels compensates for the minor drawbacks.
Betting Options (8)
The betting range in this slot game is quite narrow, varying from 1.00 to 45.00. The reason for this is that the coin denomination is fixed and the number of paylines is less compared to most contemporary slot games. Because the betting range begins at 1.00 many low rollers will avoid this slot game.
Jackpots (8)
Jeopardy does not offer a progressive jackpot and this will be a drawback. The top few fixed jackpots offer reasonable payouts but fall short of compensating for the absence of the progressive jackpot.
