Virgin Casino Announces Exclusive Online Slot

Everyone knows that Sir Richard Branson does everything in superlatives. This time he has turned his attention to Virgin Casino, which is a part of his realm. A new online slot game titled Necker Island will soon be launched at the online casino. This slot game will be exclusive to Virgin Casino and will not be available at any other online gambling site.

There is obviously more to this slot game that makes it exclusive. Necker Island is based on Sir Richard Branson's own sun-soaked private atoll in the British Virgin Islands. Maybe it will give players a peep into the lifestyles of the richest and most famous of the rich and the famous. Virgin Casino has assigned the development of Necker Island slot game to Genesis Gaming Inc. Some details about the game have been released. Necker Island will be a 50 paylines slot game with four rows of symbols across the reels instead of the usual three. The game incorporates an exciting 'Locked Wild' free game series. Steven Meistrich, CEO of Genesis Gaming, said that his company was proud to be selected by Virgin Casino. The team will apply creative and technical talents "to build a customized and branded video slot game consistent with the quality and fun users expect from the Virgin brand".

Both Genesis Gaming and Virgin Casino have a successful running partnership with QuickFire, the Flash based software platform of Microgaming that offers games to independent operators. Therefore it is no wonder that QuickFire has been chosen to host Necker Island. Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, QuickFire spokesperson, said that it is always great to be involved in something a bit different. He was confident that this exclusive product would please new and existing Virgin Casino players alike.

Explaining the rationale behind the project, Warren Eloff, Head of Products at Virgin Casino, said, "We wanted to create a game exclusively for our Virgin Games players - something that only we could offer and that truly summed up being part of the Virgin community. As such, we thought it would be ideally fitting to have a game created by Genesis Gaming that was themed around Sir Richard Branson's luxurious private island." The choice of Microgaming's QuickFire platform was also pretty straightforward. Eloff said that to them offering seamless game play and maintaining brand integrity are a must. QuickFire has delivered on both counts. No date has been announced for the release of Necker Island. But when it goes live it will add to the extensive portfolio of QuickFire products already on offer from Alderney licensed Virgin Casino. These include blockbuster titles like The Dark Knight, Cashapillar, Hitman, Immortal Romance, Mermaids Millions, Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider.
