VIP Casino Online Closes Down

The notice says, “We are sorry to announce that VIP Casino has ceased to operate. In the case you had a pending balance on your account the payments department have already reversed the funds back to your registered payment method and sent an email notification.” It goes on to address the concerns players who may not have received their dues. Such players should immediately contact the online casino at the given e-mail address with the following details: name, address, account number, amount and e-mail. The intent is clear. Every player will get their money back. However, you need to act immediately because this set up will not last forever. VIP Casino offered live dealer games and online casino games using Amaya, Aristocrat Gaming, HoGaming, Leander Games, and NextGen Gaming software licensed in Malta and United Kingdom.

No explanation for the closure was given at the VIP Casino web site, but reasonable conjectures can be made. The Intertain Group operated 24 online gaming sites of which VIP Casino was one. Intertain is making strategic changes to become more dominant in the online gambling space. Presumably it does not want to carry so many online casinos and is in the process of picking and choosing which ones it wants to back. One of them is InterCasino and it has recommended that VIP Casino players migrate to that online casino. This move is voluntary for the players and Intertain is not organizing a mass migration.

Just prior to this notice InterCasino was launched anew on Intertain’s own Plain Gaming software platform. This platform features more than 1,000 online casino games for desktop users and over 400 mobile casino games for smartphones and tablet users.
