Video Poker At Vegas Technology CasinosVideo poker is a popular online casino game. All online gaming software providers offer a range of video poker games. Vegas Technology also provides these games at their online casinos. This article discusses the video poker games offered and provides a lesson on how to navigate through these games. The video poker games are listed under a separate heading in the main casino lobby. They fall into three broad categories, which are Single Hand, 2-4 Hand and Mega Multi-Hand. In the Single Hand video poker games only one hand is played at a time. In the 2-4 Hand games players can choose to play between two and four hands at a time. In the Mega Multi-hand games the choice is between 10 hands, 50 hands or 100 hands. The navigation within the game is illustrated using Single Hand game. The payout table is at the centre of the screen. Below the payout table are spaces for the five cards that are dealt in the game. Next to the last card are the indicators for the amount bet and the amount won. Below each card is a button marked 'HOLD' which is used to keep the selected cards on hold. The other buttons used in the game operations are below them. The top toolbar contains the links to live support and help on the right corner. The help section contains the detailed rules and procedures of the game. The bottom toolbar contains the more important functions. On the extreme left are the indicators for the cash balance and the bonus balance. The 'Promo' button takes the player out of the game area and displays the promotions offered by the online casino. The 'Cashier' button allows players to deposit additional funds if so required. The 'Lobby' button on the extreme right takes the player back to the main lobby. The 'Option' button provides useful customization features. The player can turn the background and the game sounds on or off. The background sound provides music while the game is being played. The game sounds simulates sounds of cards being dealt and buttons being pressed and the clinking sound of cash being collected. The volume of both sounds can be set to 4 levels which are very low, low, medium and high. The next option with the player is to turn the animation on or off. If the animation is on then the cards are dealt one by one. If the animation is off than all the cards appear on the screen together. If the animation is turned on three animation speeds are possible. These are slow, medium and fast. The game begins by selecting the coin denomination. This is done by using the 'plus' and 'minus' signs on either side of the coin denomination indicator. The player next wagers the required number of coins by clicking on the 'BET ONE' button the appropriate number of times. For wagering five coins the player can click the 'BET MAX' button. By clicking the 'DEAL' button the hand is dealt. The player clicks on the 'HOLD' button below the cards that he wants to keep. He then clicks the 'DRAW' button to replace the remaining cards. If the player has a winning hand then the following options are open to him. He can collect his winnings and start afresh by clicking on the 'COLLECT' button. He can try to double his winnings by playing the double game through the 'DOUBLE' button. In order to collect his winnings and repeat the last wager the player should click the 'REBET' button. If the player does not have a winning hand than the initial options are open to him. |
