Game Rules & Payout Schedule
In Vegas Technology craps it is helpful to discuss the rules and payouts in the same section.
In the Pass Line bet if 7 or 11 is rolled in the come out roll, the player wins and is paid at 1 to 1. However, if 2, 3, or 12 is rolled in the come out roll, then the player loses his wager. Any other number being rolled establishes that number as the Point. Then the dice is rolled again and again till either the Point or 7 is rolled. The player wins only if the Point is rolled before 7. The payout depends on the Point. For a Point of 4 or 10 the payout is at 9 to 5; for a Point of 5 or 9 the payout is at 7 to 5 and for a Point of 6 or 8 the payout is at 7 to 6. The Don’t Pass Bet is the exact reverse of the Pass Line Bet. The Come and Don’t Come bets are similar to the Pass Line and Don’t Pass bets respectively. These four bets are very popular because they have a low house edge.
Most of the other bets in Vegas Technology craps are easier to follow but are played less often because they have a higher house edge. Players who wager on these do so because of the higher payouts. The most popular of the remaining bets are the Field bets. This bet pays even money on a roll of 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 and 2 to 1 on a roll of 2 or 12. The Any Craps bet pays 7 to 1 on a roll of 2, 3 or 12.
It is advisable for new players to read the rules and procedures in the Help section before wagering. |
