Cherry Blossoms Review
Cherry Blossoms is a 5 reel and 25 payline video slot game from Vegas Technology. As its name suggests it has a Japanese theme. The reels are set in the background of cherry blossom trees with their bright pink cherry blossom flowers. The symbols on the reels are typical Japanese icons in keeping with the theme of the slot game. The Geisha is the wild symbol and the Cherry Blossom is the scatter symbol. The other Japanese symbols are Palace, Lantern, Fan and Bell. The high value cards from nine to ace make up the rest of the symbols.
The Geisha and the Cherry Blossom symbols show animations when they are in winning combinations. The Geisha raises her fan to her face and there is a shower of cherry blossom flowers. The Cherry blossom recedes and again there is a shower of cherry blossom flowers. There is no continuous background music in this slot game. Cherry Blossom has a fixed wager of one coin per line. Hence the coin size is the bet per line. This can be adjusted by operating the up and down arrows next to the BET indicator. The Geisha is the wild symbol. It substitutes for all other symbols in order to make a winning combination except for the scatter symbol. When it does so it doubles the payouts. This is great news because a wild symbol that acts as a multiplier leads to larger payouts. Five Geisha symbols on enabled paylines offer the highest fixed jackpot of 12500 coins. At maximum line bet the payout is 125,000 credits. Five Palace symbols offer the second highest jackpot of 2500 coins.
