Vegas Technology American Roulette Review
American roulette is that version of roulette in which the wheel has 38 numbers including 0 and 00. The roulette layout is spread across the center of the screen. The player’s balance is shown at the bottom left corner. The chips are placed to the right of the screen. The range for each bet is from 1 to 100. The buttons for the player’s moves appear at the bottom right of the screen. Only the buttons relevant for that point in the game are visible. The roulette wheel appears on the top right hand corner. A close op of the wheel is shown towards the top left. The bet amount and the amount won are also displayed there. A track of the numbers called is maintained in the extreme top left. This also displays the color of the number.
The rules, procedure and the payout table can be accessed using the Help button in the top right hand corner. The Options button is in the bottom toolbar. The options available are enabling or disabling game sound and background sound adjusting their volume. The animation can be disabled but the game speed cannot be altered. The full screen option is also available. Read Full Review |

Full Review - Vegas Technology American Roulette (9.00)
The player selects the chip(s) of the appropriate denomination by clicking on them and then places the wager by clicking on the appropriate area(s) on the roulette layout. Bets can be withdrawn one chip at a time by right clicking on the chips wagered. Using the Clear button all chips can be cleared. There are two other limitations imposed on the bets. The maximum of all outside bets can be 300 and the maximum of all table bets can be 15,200. Once the wagers are placed the player clicks the Spin button to set the wheel in motion. A marker is placed on the number called. All winning bets are paid out as per the payout table.
If the player wants to continue with the same ante bet then he should click the Rebet button. The marker is removed and the wheel is spun again. If the player wants to change his wager then he should click on the Clear button and start afresh.
The background sound is a peppy music tune. If any of the bets result in a win then a small jingle is played. The game sound is sound of the ball rolling in the wheel and coming to a stop. The dealer voices also simulate real casino experience. As the wheel starts spinning the dealer announces "No more bets please". When the wheel stops spinning the dealer announces the number along with whether it is black or red and even or odd in true casino style. In the animations enabled mode players can see the full wheel and the close up spinning and coming to a stop with the ball in a slot. In the animations disabled mode only the final position of the wheel is shown.
The usual roulette bets are available. However the call bets and neighbor bets are not available. A bet unique to American roulette is the Five bet, which covers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3.
