Tomb Raider for Android by Spin3

The leading mobile gaming services provider Spin3 has announced through a press release from its headquarters in London that it is bringing Lara Croft to the Android market for the first time. It has launched the Tomb Raider slot game as a native Android app, designed to run at any resolution across all Android powered devices including smart phones and tablets. Tomb Raider is the popular branded slot from the portfolio of leading online gaming software provider Microgaming. Microgaming is a partner of Spin3 in the mobile gaming arena. Tomb Raider will offer rich graphics, detailed animations and sound effects resulting in an entertaining and superior mobile gaming experience.

Matti Zinder, Head of Spin3, issued a statement at this release. He pointed out that 2010 was a big breakthrough year for Android, but in 2011 the domination of the mainstream mobile marketplace by Android will become apparent. The analyst house Canalys has named Android as the world's leading mobile platform, outselling Nokia's Symbian platform for the first time. Android devices are penetrating every level of the market. HTC Wildwire has made a name in the low resolution devices, while Google Nexus S is popular in the high end. Android is also popular in tablets.

Every feature that is there in the Tomb Raider slot game will be present in the Android app. The wild symbol, the scatter symbol and the multipliers are there. The same free spins feature and bonus game can be played. The free spins feature is activated by the Lara Croft symbols and the bonus game on the second screen offers more credits for picking the right idol.

Tomb Raider is the first of the Android app games to be launched by Spin3. The mobile gaming provider has plans to continue to cater to Android users with more releases later this year. The slot games already announced are Mermaids Millions and Mega Moolah. Mermaid Millions with its quaint cartoon like graphics is also popular at Microgaming online casinos. Spin3 is participating in the GSMA Mobile World Congress at Barcelona that will run from February 14 to February 17. Those mobile gaming players who want to check out the app before investing in an Android can experience a demo of Tomb Raider on the Android at the Spin3 hospitality suite. There will be plenty of the latest mobile technology on display as well. Over 50,000 senior mobile leaders from 200 countries –are expected to attend.
