The Microgaming PokerStars Tie-Up Goes OnlineBy: Joan Peppin, Tuesday July 4th 20170 Comments Email Print Microgaming is a leading games supplier and is known for striking big deals. The latest press release from the Microgaming headquarters in Isle of Man reports one of the biggest tie-ups in recent times. PokerStars is globally known as the biggest online poker room. It is now owned by Amaya Inc. PokerStars also operates an online casino, which is not as well-known. Amaya wants to remedy this and is putting PokerStars Casino on a very high growth track. It was as a part of this strategy that a landmark agreement was signed in February this year between Microgaming and PokerStars. The current press release informs that the PokerStars integration to the Microgaming Quickfire platform is successful. Microgaming uses the Quickfire platform to supply gaming content to online casinos that are not exclusive Microgaming licensees. Now some of the best Microgaming titles are available to players at PokerStars Casino. These include Immortal Romance, Ariana, Break Da Bank Again and Thunderstruck II. Even the blockbuster progressive jackpot slot machine Mega Moolah is live at the PokerStars online casino. Break Da Bank Again is a volatile online slot game, suited for players on the high risk-return profile, of which there are many at PokerStars. Mega Moolah has been regularly creating millionaires around the world and may be the next one will come from Poker Stars. More industry leading games will follow in the coming months. Some of the titles announced are Lost Vegas and Mermaid Millions. Also included is the first ever branded online slot machine Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Representatives from both Microgaming and PokerStars released statements on this win-win occasion. Andrew Clucas, Director of Quickfire at Microgaming said that PokerStars is a renowned gaming brand with a huge player base and Microgaming content is the perfect fit for their casino customers. He added, “We will continue to work closely with PokerStars as they look to grow their games portfolio through Quickfire; this will be a long and fruitful relationship for both parties.” Bo Wänghammar, Director of PokerStars Casino Operations, also expressed his pleasure at his players now having access to some of the most popular games in the online casino industry. He pointed out that this further strengthened the PokerStars existing product offering. He added, “This partnership, alongside bespoke games developed by PokerStars, will help provide our customers with the best online gaming experience that can’t be found elsewhere. We look forward to further expanding with Microgaming in the near future.” News Item Tools Email Print Digg Del.icio.us StumbleUpon CommentsAdd CommentAdd CommentYou must be signed-in to add a comment: - Sign-in - RegisterMore NewsMaldives Holiday At Roxy PalaceWinter Slots Wonderland At Golden Palace Playtech Launches Innovative Galactic Streak Online Slot Two Big Announcements From Microgaming Latest Welcome Bonuses At Fortune Lounge Casinos |
