The 2010 Summer Slots Series is back at Slots Galore online casino. With combined prizes of $500,000 in cash to be won, this is one event that must not be missed.

With three separate slots tournaments being run over the course of the summer, plus an overall prize, there are plenty of opportunities to win.

Part I of the Summer Slots Series was the Funky Chicken Tournament. This event ran from June 1 to June 30 and awarded $100,000 in total prizes. The prizes for first, second and third place were $50,000, $20,000 and $7,500. Prizes were awarded all the way down to the 275th player with players 151 to 275 being awarded with $10 each.

Part II of the 2010 Summer Slots Series is running currently. It began on July 1 and will run until the end of July, ending on the 31st. Top prize from Part II – Shaaark! is $60,000 with second and third prize being $25,000 and $10,000. The top 500 players in this event will walk away with a prize with players 201 to 500 being awarded $25.

Part III of the series, California Gold, will run from August 1 to August 31 and will award the largest prizes of the series with a total prize pool of $175,000 to give away. First place will be awarded with $75,000. All of the remaining prizes for positions two through to 500 will be the same as for Part II – Shaark!, however this section of the series will award the top 800 players. Players 201 to 800 will be awarded with $25.

If you don't win one of the big prizes, you may still stand a chance. The player with the highest combined balance over the three events will be awarded with $75,000 in cash.

Players with five or more re-buys into Part I will have received free entry into Part II and players with five or more re-buys into Part II will receive free entry into Part III. Alternatively, the buy in for Part II of the series is $10, not so much when you consider that the top 500 players will win $25.
