Rushmore Casino Hosts Blackjack Bowl III Tourney

The third season of the Blackjack Bowl online tournament has already begun at Rushmore Casino. The first two seasons of Blackjack Bowl were a resounding success. The third season is expected to be even more so.

Blackjack Bowl is a mega online tournament that goes through several qualifiers before the final event. It runs over 21 weeks. The total prize pool that will be disbursed during the course of Blackjack Bowl III is over $50,000. The winners of the final in February 2010 will share a prize pool of $21,000.

The first round qualifiers are being held thrice a week, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Monday event is known as BKJK III - $7 Playoff. It has a $7 entry fee and a prize pool of $25. The first-place winner will get $15, the second-place winner will get $7.50 and the third-place winner will get $2.50. All three will secure a place in the Bowl of the Week. The Thursday event is known as BKJK III - $14 Playoff. It has a $14 entry fee and a prize pool of $50. The first-place winner will get $30, the second-place winner will get $15 and the third-place winner will get $5. Players in the first four places will secure a place in the Bowl of the Week. The Saturday event is known as BKJK III - $21 Playoff. It has a $21 entry fee and a prize pool of $75. The first-place winner will get $45, the second-place winner will get $22.50 and the third-place winner will get $7.50. Players in the first five places will secure a place in the Bowl of the Week.

The BKJK III - $1000 Bowl of the Week will be held every Sunday night. Those who have qualified through the daily events can participate for free. Other players have to buy their way in by paying the entry fee of $55. The $1000 prize pool will be distributed as follows. The first-place winner will get $420, the second-place winner will get $250, the third-place winner will get $150, the fourth-place winner will get $100 and the fifth-place winner will get $80. All five players will get free entry to the Bowl of the Month.

The BKJK III - $2000 Bowl of the Month will be held on the last or the first Tuesday of every month. Those who have qualified through the weekly events can participate for free. Other players have to buy their way in by paying the entry fee of $99. The $2000 prize pool will be distributed among the top five players, with the prizes being double of the weekly tournaments.

The final event known as Blackjack Bowl $21,000 will be held on February 4. For those who have not qualified there is a stiff entry fee of $250. The prize pool will be shared by the top 12 players, with the winner getting more than $7000.
