When the card symbols appear in reels 2, 3 and 4 during the main game they may contain part of a snowflake pattern in the background. In the Explorer Feature the player is awarded five free spins in which reels 4 and 5 are made up entirely of explorer symbols. Three or more scatter ship symbols appearing on the reels during the feature will add five free spins. In the Discovery Feature eight free spins are awarded. During each spin at least one reel will have at least one explorer symbol. It is possible for explorer symbols to appear in stacks. Three or more scatter ships will add eight free spins. The retrigger can take place maximum two times. In the Hidden Chest feature a second screen displays a snow cave with five chests. Players have to use the harpoon to open selected chests to reveal up to three bonus symbols. After that the player will be allotted eight free spins. During these free spins the revealed bonus symbols are replaced by the wild explorer symbols. Three or more scatter ships appearing on the reels will add five free spins.

The Feature Guarantee ensures that if the snowflake pattern does not appear for 125 consecutive spins then one of the bonus features will be automatically triggered. Players can also use the Instant Trigger Chance to try and activate the free spins features.
