Realtime Gaming Details Page
Graphics and Sound (6)
The graphics and sounds as seen and heard in Realtime Gaming powered online casinos are good but not amazing. We found the graphics in several of their games to be pixelated and slightly distorted although the animations and smoothness of the spinning of their slots reels is quite nice. The same goes for the sounds they're ok but yet again not amazing or anything to write home about.
Game Variety (8)
Realtime Gaming casinos have a fairly decent number of games to choose from and play. They are most known for their Real Series slots games which were introduced to their casino platform a few year back and have certainly enticed old players to come back and play again. Aside from slots though they do have a good selection of video poker, blackjack, and other table game variants.
Game Updates (7)
Realtime Gaming does update their software but like other software providers they do so infrequently. When they do release new games typically they're good.
Progressives (8)
One thing that can be said about the progressives available at casinos powered by Realtime Gaming software is that they do reach fairly attractive jackpot values and are hit quite frequently. Other software providers have progressive games that have been developed so that the jackpot is hit very infrequently but the progressive prize grows to an absorbent amount. Realtime Gaming has more frequent payouts but smaller jackpots.
Download Version (7)
The download version of the Realtime Gaming software is the way to go as their flash no download version is quite lacking on the bells and whistles you'll find in the download version of their software.
Instant Play Version (6)
We weren't overly impressed with the no download version of Realtime's software. The games were pretty much all there, but the quality of the game play wasn't like it was in the download version of their product.
