Deuces Wild Video Poker Review
Real Time Gaming offers Deuces Wild Video Poker in a single hand format and a number of multi-hand formats. The single hand game is being reviewed presently. A large portion of the screen is taken by the payout table that shows the paying poker hands and the payouts for 1 to 5 coins wagered. Below that is the area for dealing the cards. Below the cards are the various buttons that are used by the player to operate the game. On the bottom right are the chips. Above the chips are the indicators for the game parameters, including the coin sizes available. On the top right are the Help and Options functions.
The deuce is the wild card and can substitute for any other card. The lowest paying hand in Deuces Wild Video Poker is three of a kind. Because of the wild card the lower ranking hands do not pay. Also because of the wild card some new hand rankings have been introduced. These include wild royal, which is a royal flush made using a deuce as a wild card, and five of a kind, which is four of a kind with the fifth card being a deuce. Read Full Review |

Full Review - Deuces Wild Video Poker (9.34)
The game begins by the player choosing the coin size with which he wants to wager. In Real Time Gaming Deuces Wild Video Poker the available coin sizes are 0.05, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 and 5.00. Next the player transfers credits from his casino account by clicking on the chips of the desired denominations. After that the player chooses the number of coins he wants to wager, from 1 coin to 5 coins. Every click on the Bet One button selects one coin. Five coins can be selected by clicking on the Bet Max button. Once the process of selecting the coins is complete the chosen number of coins is displayed in the Coins Played cell and the player’s credits are appropriately reduced. The minimum bet is with one coin of coin size 0.05, amounting to 0.05. The maximum bet is with five coins of coin size 5.00, amounting to 25.00.
The player then clicks on the Deal button to deal the five initial cards. He clicks on the cards he wants to hold, based on his strategy for maximizing his chance of getting a paying poker hand. He then clicks on the Draw button and gets his final hand. If the hand does not figure in the payout table the game is over. However if the player receives a payout he has the option of playing the Double or Nothing game. If he wins this game his payout gets doubled and if he loses this game his winnings are lost. In this game, one card is dealt face up and five cards are dealt face down. The player has to select one of the face down cards. If that card is higher ranked than the face up card the player wins. In this game the deuce is the highest ranked card because it is the wild card. The player can keep on doubling his winnings. When the player decides to collect his winnings the amount is shown in the payout cell and then transferred to his credits. When the player finishes wagering he can click the Cash Out button and transfer his balance credits back to his casino account.
Two options that the player can exercise are enabling the full screen mode and enabling the sounds.
