QuickFire to Power Offside BetBy: Joe Valentino, Thursday January 6th 20110 Comments Email Print The QuickFire software platform launched by Microgaming last year has been adding clients at a furious rate. It is targeting sports book operators that want to offer Microgaming casino games to their clients through a separate product vertical. Just into 2011, QuickFire has announced that over 150 games, mostly online slots, will be available to players of Offside Bet. This follows an agreement with Offside Gaming enabling the latter to utilize the new QuickFire casino product. Offside Gaming was founded in 2008 and is a Malta based leading B2B sports book technology provider. It operates its own sports book Offside Bet. The games would be available at Offside Bet from early in 2011. The titles already announced include online slot games Hellboy and Tomb Raider. Both of these are branded slot games, which is a genre fast gaining popularity. Hellboy is the super hero from Dark Horse Comics. The game portrays several characters from the comic book, crafted in the same manner. The four level bonus game on the second screen adds to the excitement. Tomb Raider has been developed under license from the video game producer Eidos and features the adventuress Lara Croft. The press release also named Mega Moolah, one of the world's largest progressive jackpot networks as a game that will be offered under the agreement. The jackpot that has paid over $6 million for a single hit resets at $1 million. It therefore creates a millionaire every time it is hit. Though Offside Bet will be the first Offside Gaming licensee to get the Microgaming games through QuickFire, the other partners will follow suit. The deal specifically permits the many global licensees of Offside Gaming to offer leading Flash-based titles from Microgaming. The most popular of these licensees are Yugano and Miljugadas, which are sports book catering to South American players. Matt Jellicoe, Chief Executive Officer for Offside Gaming, said that this deal was the first of its kind for them and that they are always looking for new opportunities where they can increase their game offering to provide the best possible software solution. Offside Gaming selected QuickFire because it is a product of Microgaming, which is known for its innovative technology and award-winning games. Jellicoe looked forward to developing this relationship further during 2011. Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, spokesperson for QuickFire, also commented on the agreement. He said, "We are proud to be the gaming experience of choice for sports book operators such as Offside Gaming. Our flexible QuickFire product will enable a seamless and fast integration to Offside Bet's systems and we look forward to the casino games launching in the New Year."
