A new arcade game titled Cash Blox has gone live at some of the more popular Playtech online casinos like Casino Tropez. This is based on a retro arcade game in which the objective was to form as many complete lines as possible. In the original version players could manipulate the blocks as they fell into the game area so as to increase the chances of forming complete lines. In the Playtech online casino game the falling of blocks and possible forming of lines is a random event left to chance.

The game begins with the player setting his staked amount by adjusting the Bet button. The amount wagered is shown in the Stake field. The player then clicks the Play button to start the game. Blocks of different shapes fall randomly into the game area. If the blocks form a complete row when they land, the player is paid according to the pay table. The completed line disappears, allowing blocks above to drop into the vacant place. Forming two or more lines on consecutive rows award double, triple or quadruple payouts. However, if two or more lines are formed at the same time but not on consecutive rows, then they are paid as multiples of single lines. The game ends when a block cannot wholly fit within the grid. The accumulated payouts shown in the Winnings field are transferred to the player’s account.

The pay table shows the line payouts for single, double, triple and quadruple completed lines. The payouts shown automatically adjust to the amount wagered. When the first complete line or set of complete lines is formed, the payout in the lowest corresponding cell is awarded. Any subsequent occurrences of the same number of complete lines in the same game round pay out at the higher levels shown. The payout for doubles is double the singles payout. But for triples and quadruples the payouts rise sharply. The first triple pays 10 times the first single amount, but the fourth triple pays 30 times the fourth single amount. The first quadruple pays 40 times the first single amount, but the fourth triple pays 400 times the fourth single amount.

When a complete line or set of lines includes a multi-colored Magic Block then the player is awarded ten free plays. Free plays are played at the same stake as the round that triggered the free plays. They are played out automatically. Free plays can be re-triggered. Playtech Cash Blox also includes an Auto Play feature. Players can select the number of game rounds to be played consecutively. A Slow Mode is available that reduces the speed with which the blocks fall.
