Omni Casino has announced a video poker online tournament that will run from July 14 to July 21. The invitation to the tournament in the Omni Casino newsletter says, “Get ready to cash in on Omni Casino’s exclusive Video Poker Tournament! Win your share of the $2,500 prize pool by playing the most Video Poker you can during the tournament period.”

Participation in the online tournament is automatic when players wager on the eligible video poker games at Omni Casino. There is no need to opt in and there is no entry fee to be paid. Players are advised to join the tournament rankings as early as possible to give them a better chance at winning. Any single line video poker variant offered at Omni Casino is eligible for the promotion. Player must ensure that the coin size is at least 0.25 credits in order to qualify. For each $1.25 wagered on an eligible video poker variant players will receive 1 tournament point. “Double up” bets do not count for the tournament. Players will be listed according the tournaments points accumulated on the leader board. The leader board will be updated periodically and displayed within the casino lobby and at the tournament webpage. The top 20 players will share the prize pool. The player who accumulates the most points will win $500. The player in the second position will win $375. Thereafter the prize money will decrease further. The player in the 20th position will take home $25.

The Omni Casino Double Royals video poker promotion will run right through the tournament, instead of only on Friday and Saturday. Players who get dealt a Royal Flush in hearts during the promotion period will receive double the regular payout up to a maximum of $1,000. Royal Flush hands in spades, clubs and diamonds win the regular prize amount. A maximum of two Double Royals payouts per player will be allowed during the tournament period. As in the video poker tournament, only single line video poker games are eligible. Players may not use bonuses and or any other promotional chips to wager on these games. There are no wagering requirements on reward prizes. Upon being dealt a hearts Royal Flush the players have to contact customer support by e-mail with the subject line “I’ve won a royal flush!” within 36 hours. The message should also contain the player’s account number and date of winning. After Omni Casino verifies the win, the bonus award will be credited in the player’s account.
