The leading online gaming software developer known for its unique interactive slots, commonly referred to as i-slots, has added a new game in this genre at some of its online casinos. Titled Japan-O-Rama this slot games brings to the reels the cultural richness and diversity of Japan.

The array of symbols has been well chosen. The veiled Ninja warrior is sinister looking. The Anime is the modern representation of the Japanese boy. In a sense Japan-O-Rama is all about modern Japan. The mobile phone that has become a global necessity originated in Japan. The stereo player and the robot also emphasize the strength that Japan has accumulated in electronics. One of the icons of modern Japan is the Bullet Train and it is also represented on the reels. Hello Kitty, Japan's tourism ambassador, waves out. And finally Japanese culture cannot be complete without its cuisine and this is represented by sushi.

The four special symbols that characterize Rival Gaming online slots are also based on Japanese culture. The Geisha has been an icon always associated with Japan. In this slot game the Geisha symbol awards free spins. Five free spins are warded when three Geisha symbols appear scattered on the reels. 10 free spins are awarded with four Geisha symbols and 20 free spins with five Geisha symbols. All payouts are tripled during free spins. The Katana sword used by the Samurai is the jackpot symbol and offers the highest fixed jackpot of 1,000 coins. Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. was a very popular movie in Japan. Godzilla is the wild symbol and appears on the first three reels only. But it expands to cover the entire reel and stalks menacingly across Tokyo dwarfing the high rise buildings. In the process it leads to many more winning paylines. Another eternal Japanese icon is the Sumo wrestler. Three or more Sumo symbols trigger the bonus game on the second screen.

Two features that characterize Rival Gaming i-slots have been incorporated in Japan-O-Rama. One is the full scale animations. These appear only when four or five like symbols appear in an enabled payline. So these are not seen in every spin. But when they are activated the relevant symbol expands to occupy the entire screen. In the mobile phone symbol an e-mail message is received and by the number of hearts flashing on the screen it appears to be from a special friend. The bonus game allows players to play the Pachinko machine, yet another gift from Japan to the rest of the world. Tiny balls are fired to the top of the machine then they trickle down hundreds of pins into different scoring zones. The Japan-O-Rama i-slot features three Pachinko machines, each with different Japanese backgrounds.
