Mystic Shuffle Hi Lo

A Hi Lo game in the simplest terms implies guessing whether the second card dealt will be higher or lower than the first. Many online casinos offer variations of this game but none have really caught on. Now Bodog Casino is bringing a new avatar of this game in fall and hoping that this time round it will work.
There seem to be two changes that Bodog Casino has made. Most Hi Lo games are based on a deck of cards with the card values going from 1 for the Ace to 13 for the King. Even the slots type versions of Hi Lo use numbers from 1 to 13. Bodog Casino has introduced numbers from 1 to 20. In the earlier versions of Hi Lo the color or suit of the card was usually of no consequence. In Mystic Shuffle Hi Lo the numbers are either red or blue and the player can bet on the rank as well as the color of the second number.
Obviously there is no gaming skill involved. And Bodog Casino perhaps did not want to project this as a game of pure chance. Hence they are calling this a game of psychic skill or the ability to predict the future. The name Mystic Shuffle has been chosen to fit this concept. The card design and the screen graphics are intended to create an atmosphere of a fortune teller in a dark room. The game has been created in-house by Bodog Casino and justifies the professionalism Bodog is known for.
The play is simple. The player first chooses a card numbered from 1 to 12 and then predicts whether the next card will be higher lower or the same. The payout for each possible bet is shown on the screen in order to help the player to make his choice. As in all casino games the payout is inversely proportional to the probability of a hit and therefore the payouts depend on the initial number chosen. Foe example if the player chooses Number 3 and bets on "higher", the chances of his winning are good but the payout will be peanuts. The player can bet on the color of the next card as well. Since there are only two colors in Mystic Shuffle and a card of either color is equally likely the payouts for the colors are the same.
No casino game is any fun without bonuses. Therefore Mystic Shuffle has its share of extra winnings. Players can collect celestial bonus symbols of different colors as they play and this dictates the extra percentage on their winnings they stand to make. For example if a player collects a blue, a red and a yellow symbol he gets a bonus of 6%. If his normal winnings were $100 then he would get an additional $6 as a bonus.
