Millionaires Club Online Jackpot Hit

A 44-year-old woman literally joined the millionaires club when she hit the jackpot of the flagship progressive slot game from the software provider Cryptologic. She won a payout of €2.8 million ($3.5 million) on the Millionaires Club progressive jackpot online slot. The jackpot was hit on May 3. This information was released by Amaya Gaming, the Canada based company that acquired Cryptologic last year.

After returning from work the winner wanted to spend some time alone and logged on to her favorite online casino. She had placed a wager of only €5 when she saw a message popped up on her screen stating that she had won €2.8 million. “I nearly fainted,” said the mother of two children. Most online casino players who win a life changing amount split the proceeds between splurging and saving and this winner is no different. She plans to spend some of her windfall on a new home and to take her family on a holiday. She added, “A reasonable amount will, of course, be put into a savings account. Other than that, the comfortable life can start.”

Big though this win is, it is not the maximum that Millionaires Club has paid out. The highest ever win on this progressive jackpot online slot was recorded in 2007 with a hit of over €6 million. The second highest payout amounted to €3.1 million and was awarded in June 2011. This hit is the third largest. Millionaires Club has been hit 17 times since it was launched in 2004. David Baazov, Chief Executive Officer for Amaya Gaming said that he was thrilled that the Millionaire's Club progressive jackpot has been hit again. “This jackpot has paid out over €24 million since it was introduced in 2004 and continues to regularly change lives.”

The online casino on which the hit was recorded is Jaxx.com. It has been a partner of Amaya Gaming since 2005. Mark Irvine from Jaxx.com was thrilled with the event and said that the staff at the online casino was delighted to be a part of such a massive win. The progressive jackpot is not easy to hit. The Millionaires Club logo triggers the wheel of wealth bonus round. In the first level if the player is able to collect three jackpot tokens he enters the wheel of wealth round. He has then to navigate his way to the third wheel, which contains the life-changing progressive jackpot award. The jackpot ticker has since been reset to 175,000 coins but has already started growing.
