Game Rules

Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword is a five-reel, 30-payline video slot game. Your objective as the player is to achieve opportunities to play for bonuses. This is done in many ways. One of them is by hitting the wilds, which are the Portrait symbols, which trigger the highest possible bonus payoff on any one spin. Getting five Portrait symbols in one payline returns the player 7500 coins. To show how this works, if the player is using a 0.20 coin size and betting ten coins on 15 paylines, the bet is 150 coins. If three Queens appeared in a row on a payline, the payout is eight coins. That would bring you 80 coins for that payline. Multiply by the 80 coins by the 0.20 coin size and you get 16 credits. Of course, the more paylines you bet, the more potential you have to win on multiple paylines, which can be very beneficial.

The Waterfall symbol is also valuable to the player. Five of these on a payline will bring a payout of 2000 coins. The Excalibur is the scatter symbol, which means that the required number for a payoff need not be in a payline at all to win, but instead, can appear anywhere on the layout. That makes it something the player will most definitely aim for.

There are 10 symbols that will pay for achieving three on a payline. Here they are, in descending order of value, as well as the coin payout available:

  • Portrait (75)
  • Waterfall (50)
  • Guns (25)
  • Bike (20)
  • City (15)
  • Ace (10)
  • King (8)
  • Queen (8)
  • Jack (5)
  • Ten (5)

Obviously, people who are familiar with blackjack or poker will recognize the order of the last five symbols, as they are the same as the descending order of card values. The rest of the symbols are pretty self-explanatory, once you get into the game. It should be noted that you will only be paid on three symbols if those symbols are next to each other on an enabled payline.
