Microgaming Signs New OperatorsBy: Ryan Alders, Wednesday June 30th 20100 Comments Email Print Microgaming has for long been the leading online gaming software provider in the industry. It has not maintained its lead position by resting on its laurels. In a highly competitive industry Microgaming has attracted the best of gaming operators because of its quality and service. In the last week it has added two prestigious names to its long list of clients. In a press release from its headquarters in Isle of Man Microgaming informs that it has signed a partnership deal with PhilWeb. PhilWeb is the largest Internet company in Philippines and dominant in technology based gaming operations. It operates a network of Pagcor e-Games café operations. Its new online casino called Vibrant Vegas will go live on that network today. Vibrant Vegas will be powered by software from Microgaming. The online casino will offer all of over 450 graphic rich games, the support of a dedicated Account Management team and world class back office services. Microgaming too will benefit from this partnership. Asia is the fastest growing online gaming market in the world and the addition of Philippine’s most successful gaming name to its international network will enhance Microgaming’s position in this market. Dennis Valdes, Chief Executive Officer of PhilWeb, explained the rationale for choosing Microgaming as a partner. He said that PhilWeb is expanding at a phenomenal rate and the new online casino is a manifestation of that expansion. He said, "Microgaming is the obvious partner for us, due to its ability to deliver the highest quality tailored software at an unrivalled speed to market. We firmly believe that no other provider comes close when it comes to games content." Valdes added that he anticipates a long and successful partnership with Microgaming and looked forward to the software provider playing a major role in the future growth of PhilWeb. Fredrik Lonnqvist spoke on behalf of Microgaming. He called this partnership "a real coup" for Microgaming. He said, "We believe that our software gives our operators a competitive edge when it comes to game variety, quality, and technical sophistication. We are committed to delivering the most exciting and rewarding online gaming experience, to Vibrant Vegas players." Earlier in the month Microgaming had announced a tie up for licensing its software to Malta based operator, FortunaWin. FortunaWin is a subsidiary of Fortuna Entertainment Group, one of the largest gaming operators in Central Europe with a presence in Hungary, Croatian, Slovakia, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic. Jaroslav Kulenda, Head of Casino at FortunaWin, said, "We are committed to offering our players the very best in Casino entertainment and Microgaming is the obvious partner in helping us achieve this goal."
