Microgaming Releases Two Bingo Side GamesBy: Adam Richards, Wednesday March 31st 20102 Comments Email Print Through a media advisory released from its head quarters in Isle of Man on March 30, Microgaming has announced the release of two new Bingo Side Games. Both of these are online slot games. Microgaming, which is the world’s largest provider of online gaming software, launches new Bingo Side Games every month. The first of these games is Mega Moolah Isis. Mega Moolah Isis is a progressive jackpot slot game connected to the Mega Moolah network. It features the popular ancient Egyptian theme. The symbols on the reels are taken from Egyptian mythology and are crafted with exquisite detail. Isis, the mother Goddess, is the wild symbol and Hawk is the scatter symbol. The other thematic symbols are the Ankh, Vase, Orb, Brooch and Lotus. The slot game has five reels and 20 paylines. The regular features of contemporary online slot games are all there, including the Free Spin Bonus feature. Mega Moolah Isis also has the popular Microgaming Gamble feature. Players can stake their payouts, except progressive jackpot winnings, to try to double or to quadruple their money. The best feature is the randomly triggered bonus round that leads to spinning the wheel. Whereas this assures them of one of the four progressive jackpots, players will be hoping that it is the biggest one. Fruit Smoothies is the other Bingo Side Game launched by Microgaming. This is a three reel, one payline and one coin slot game structured in the classic mold. Fruit Smoothies is rich in graphics and features and obviously has a number of fruits on the reels. This slot game has a top feature screen that is activated when a win is triggered. A number of win spins can be played out here. The number of win spins is determined by the symbol combinations won in the regular game. If three Extra Spin symbols are displayed on one of the five win lines, further win spins, up to four in number, are added to the total number of win spins left. Neill Whyte, Head of Bingo at Microgaming, explained that there is a growing segment of bingo players who prefer the side games along with the main bingo action. He said, "We offer a range of gaming options to the users on our network and make Bingo sites complete one stop shops for players seeking fun, entertainment and more importantly, rewards." Normally by this time of the month Microgaming also releases the previews of the online casino games to be launched early in the next month. Players at Microgaming online casinos eagerly wait for these previews. This time no such previews have been released. Hopefully this does not mean a delay in the launching of the new online casino games. Perhaps if the games are released without being previewed earlier the excitement will be all the greater. Lots of side game type games have been released recently. I think that I really like the new Microgaming lobby in particular that it allows you to play up to 5 games simultaneously which is fantastic. Wish that some of the other online casino software companies out there would start introducing side games or multi-game play in a single gaming session.
