Microgaming QuickFire Signs Deal For New Games OnlineBy: Adam Baker, Friday January 18th 20130 Comments Email Print QuickFire is the instant play platform of the leading software provider Microgaming, which has been rapidly expanding its games portfolio and customer base. It has announced another content supply agreement that will introduce new variety to its choice of games. QuickFire has partnered with Push Gaming to offer the top-performing land casino titles of Magic Dreams. Push Gaming is an online and mobile casino game developer that specializes in adapting games from land-based suppliers. Push Gaming already services the top 20 European online operators. Looking to expand its business, Push Gaming was attracted to QuickFire because of the latter’s range of top-tier online casino operators and because of QuickFire’s stated strategy to deliver the best gaming content to the Internet gambling industry. Push Gaming was founded in 2010 by James Marshall, a former senior consultant for Pentasia. Pentasia was NextGen Gaming’s international partner. QuickFire and Push Gaming will work in tandem to integrate a number of land-based games developed by Magic Dreams for online casino operations. Magic Dreams Group, which is based in Italy, is a leading electronic gaming machines manufacturer that has more than 20 years of experience. Magic Dreams wants to use its expertise to extend its activity worldwide and enter the online gaming market. The first three Magic Dreams games that will go live on the QuickFire platform have been announced but no date has been set. One is Double Draw Poker, which is one of the most popular video poker variants in land casinos. The other two are the exciting slot games Xcalibur and The Jungle II. Representatives of all three companies commented on this agreement. James Marshall, Commercial Director and Co-Founder, Push Gaming, described the partnership with QuickFire as a major milestone for Push Gaming. It would enable Push Gaming to reach a “wide range of online operators and gain excellent exposure within the online gaming market”. Luca Gerardini, General Manager, Magic Dreams, was excited at the prospect of their successful gaming titles being available online. He was confident that the games would be just as popular online, as they are on the casino gaming floor. Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, Head of QuickFire, spoke about the number of strong partnerships they have entered into to offer the best gaming content in the market. The games resulting from this partnership would prove a valuable addition to the QuickFire portfolio. One of Microgaming’s closest competitors, WagerWorks, is a division of IGT a leading company in land casino gaming equipment. Its slot machines for land casinos are very popular and WagerWorks adapts them for the online gambling space. Now Microgaming will be able to match them with its own adaptations of equally popular land casino games.
