Microgaming QuickFire Extends Gaming PortfolioBy: Shirley Spicer, Thursday May 12th 20110 Comments Email Print QuickFire is a software platform developed by Microgaming with the objective of delivering its online casino games to operators that are powered by other software providers. QuickFire has been described as supremely versatile and hassle free for both operator and player. One of the main advantages of this platform is the fast and seamless integration into any existing system, including online casinos, poker rooms, bingo halls, live dealer casinos and mobile casinos. But till now QuickFire offered its clients only Microgaming casino games. Now, in a press release from its headquarters in Isle of Man Microgaming has announced that QuickFire will also offer gaming content from the Las Vegas based NextGen Gaming and Genesis Gaming of Australia. The new gaming content will be available to QuickFire clients from this week. As a result of the new games from NextGen Gaming and Genesis Gaming the QuickFire portfolio will cover over 220 top-performing casino titles. Some of the more prominent of the new additions are Drone Wars from Genesis Gaming and 20 titles from NextGen Gaming, including Mad Mad Monkey and 300 Shields. Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, QuickFire Spokesperson, said that they were delighted to be able to extend their product offering to include casino content from NextGen Gaming and Genesis Gaming. He pointed out that there is a huge demand from online casino operators wanting to integrate QuickFire into their existing systems. There is also growing interest from software developers wanting to offer their games through QuickFire and this deal has resulted from the second type of demand. Sandyford-Sykes said, "We look forward to a long and successful working relationship with both businesses." In the press release, Steven Meistrich, founder and CEO at Genesis Gaming, elaborated on the game Drone Wars. He said that Drone Wars will be offered exclusively through QuickFire and was developed due to the popularity of vintage sci-fi action games. In Drone Wars players are offered the choice of two space mission type features in the bonus round, both of which provide an increased interactive gaming experience. Meistrich added, "We are looking forward to working with QuickFire as it provides bespoke offerings, which have been phenomenally popular to date and we can't wait to supply more proprietary content in the coming months." Matt Davey, CEO of NextGen Gaming also made similar comments. He too was delighted to be able to offer 20 of NextGen's games through QuickFire, which has a reputation of providing premium casino content. He said, "From start to finish, it has been an easy and straightforward process for us to integrate some of our most complex bonus features and we are sure that there will be more game releases through QuickFire on the horizon."
