Microgaming Online Gambling Software Provider

In the last few days the leading online casino software provider Microgaming has released two advisories that are characteristic of its expansion of reach and content. The first advisory is about new partnership in the Italian regulated market and the second advisory is about a new partnership for a branded online slot.

Microgaming operates in Italy through Prima Networks Limited. Prima Networks Limited has announced that the Italian online gaming operator Betflag SPA has signed up to use its online casino software. Betflag is actually a new sports betting portal launched by the Tarricone Holding Group, which currently offers competitive odds on sporting events. It is the practice of such gambling sites to offer online casino games to complement their main product line. For this Betflag has opted for the Microgaming QuickFire software platform.

Loraine Schoevers, Director of Prima Networks Limited, said that this deal will allow Microgaming products to be available, through Betflag's online casino, to thousands gamers in Italy. Giuseppe Tarricone of Betflag said that they had chosen QuickFire because of its reputation and high quality of service. QuickFire offers innovative gaming content and award winning technology. The QuickFire platform can be integrated into operator systems with unparalleled speed and offers reliability and stability. Tarricone added, "The partnership is sure to result in us offering players the best possible casino experience and use of some of the most advanced software in the market."

Earlier, Microgaming had directly announced details of a new agreement with Pedigree Group Limited. Pedigree owns the iconic Shoot football magazine and Microgaming will develop an online slot game based on this brand. The branded online casino slot game will feature characteristic graphics from Shoot. The complex agreement, which also involves digital specialist AT New Media, has been brokered by licensing agents Bulldog Licensing Limited. The Microgaming advisory states, "Shoot has captivated successive generations of football fans with sharp, incisive writing and contributions from the stars of the game, from Bobby Moore and Alan Ball right up to modern day legends such as Frank Lampard and John Terry..." Today, apart from special print issues, Shoot is available online and also as a mobile app from iTunes.

Roger Raatgever, CEO, Microgaming, said that would be plenty of soccer this summer, including Euro 2012, and that would be the ideal time to launch this football themed branded slot. Bulldog MD Rob Corney said, "We are delighted to be announcing this new deal. Online gamers like brands they know and can identify with and Shoot fits the bill perfectly. This agreement once again highlights the brand's huge versatility!"
