Microgaming, the leading online casino software provider from Isle of Man, has launched a new product that does not directly offer remote gambling but is closely related. The product is a novel and entertaining blackjack coaching game titled Bronzebeard Blackjack The Strategy Coach. The app was premiered this week at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Captain Bronzebeard takes players on an intergalactic and educational adventure. The app features over 60 unique 3D animations, four levels of game play and an abundance of special treasure wins. Microgaming says, “… there’s plenty of fun...and knowledge... for Blackjack beginners and pros alike.” Neill Whyte, head of product channels at Microgaming, said that it is Microgaming’s intent to develop games for all operating systems and platforms. This blackjack app is the first and it has so far received positive reviews. The several advantages of the Microgaming mobile app are listed out at the web site. Players who want to test their mettle can turn off the animated coach guidance at any time. The standard blackjack options of hit, stand, double and split are obviously available, but doubling after splitting is also allowed. As players progress through the mobile app they will unlock bigger and better animations for Bronzebeard and this will add a humorous aspect to the serious coaching.

Microgaming has made another announcement that goes beyond gaming in connection with an online slot going live this month. The slot game is titled Girls with Guns – Jungle Heat. Along with the game, Microgaming will launch a microsite dedicated to the online slot game.
