Full Review - Lumber Cats (9.29)
Unfortunately the audio and animations do not match up. The audio is ordinary at best. Only the main symbols are animated. Of these the best animation is in the Trees symbol, which sways in the wind and birds fly out.
The following coin sizes are available in Lumber Cats: 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20 and 0.25. Players can wager up to a maximum of 10 coins per payline and activate up to 20 paylines per spin. One of the advantages in this slot game is that the parameters can be increased and decreased so that players need not go through the entire cycle for reducing the parameter by one level.
The bonus game on the second screen is the Tree Feature. It is triggered when three or more scattered Trees symbols appear anywhere on the reels. The players have to select one of the three cats and are given bonus points depending on the position of their cat in the tree climbing race. The bonus amount is multiplied by the triggering bet. This feature can be triggered in the Log Roll feature.
The Log Roll feature is a re-spins feature. It is triggered when the Log symbol appears on reels 1 and 5 simultaneously and the Lumber Cat symbol appears anywhere on Reel 3. Five re-spins are awarded. The Lumber Cat symbol expands to cover the entire Reel 3. The Log symbols get converted to the Lumber Cat wild symbols and thus there are tremendous payment opportunities.
Lumber Cats also offers the Gamble Feature that can be activated voluntarily after any win by players seeking a chance to multiply their winnings. They can opt to choose the color in which case they will double their winnings if they guess correctly and lose them if they guess wrong. Or they can opt to choose the suit in which case they will quadruple their winnings if they guess correctly and lose them if they guess wrong.
Lumber Cats offers very high fixed jackpots. The first two jackpots are worth 6000 and 4000 coins. This makes the slot game on the volatile side and will attract risk taking players.
