Lady in Red Review

Lady in Red is a music theme slot. The Lady in Red is the kind of lady who sings in restaurants or night clubs. The reels are set in the background of a stage. The other symbols related to the theme are the Pianist, the Roses and the Whisky. The Lady in Red Logo is the wild symbol. The Camera is the scatter symbol. The symbols are crafted in considerable detail. The silhouette of the man smoking can be seen behind the glass of whisky and the photographer behind the camera. The entire orchestra is arranged around the pianist. High value card symbols from Ace to Nine also grace the reels. These have been crafted elegantly as befits the theme.

The usual game sounds have been incorporated, but in a music themed slot better use of audio could have been made. There is no background music and apart from the win sounds there is no audio in the animation. The only really interesting audio effect is the pop of the old fashioned flash bulb in the scatter Camera symbol. The animations are also below par. Only the wild and scatter symbols have any animation. In the wild symbol the "Lady in Red" logo is converted to "Wild". The Camera symbol shows the best animation. Lady in Red is a 25 payline video slot from Microgaming. The number of paylines can be selected by operating the Lines button below the reels. Players can wager up to 10 coins on each payline. These can be selected by operating the Coins button. The coin size varies from 0.01 to 0.20. Therefore the line bet varies from 0.01 to 2.00 and the total bet per spin varies from 0.01 to 50.00.

The Lady in Red Logo is the wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter symbol. When two or more of these symbols appear in an active payline they award line payouts. When the wild symbol assists in completing the payline for any other symbol it doubles the payouts. The Camera is the scatter symbol. When two or more scatter symbols appear on the reels scatter payouts are awarded. When three or more of these symbols appear on the reels then the free spins feature is triggered. Three scatter symbols award 15 free spins. Four scatter symbols award 20 free spins. Five scatter symbols award 25 free spins. All payouts are tripled in the free spins. The free spins feature can be retriggered. Lady in Red does not offer a bonus game on the second screen.
