Microgaming In Regulated European MarketsBy: Joan Peppin, Saturday August 18th 20120 Comments Email Print In Europe online gambling is being regulated at national levels with each country creating its own regulatory authority and set of rules. Therefore online gambling operators and software providers have to create country wise strategies for Europe. Microgaming has announced inroads into two of the smaller European markets, Belgium and Denmark, through associated concerns. In Belgium Microgaming is operating through Prima Networks, which offers operators the complete range of award winning games from Microgaming. Prima Networks has announced a tie up with Win2day.be, which belongs to the leading Casinos Austria International group. Win2day.be will be launching Belgium's first officially licensed online bingo room powered by Prima Networks. A range of other products will also be rolled out throughout the summer. An online casino operator, TivoliCasino.dk, operating in the regulated market of Denmark has chosen QuickFire, powered by Microgaming, as its software provider. QuickFire will offer its high-quality games for TivoliCasino's launch. Tivoli A/S, owner of the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, has expanded its slots machines and gaming arcade machines operations and has gone online with TivoliCasino.dk. Lars Dam-Johnsen, Head of Gaming at Tivoli Casino, pointed out that QuickFire was the natural choice for an operator entering the recently regulated Danish market. QuickFire has ample experience in other Scandinavian markets and is continuously increasing its portfolio of games. The QuickFire software offers easy and fast integration with the operator's system. Dam-Johnsen was confident that QuickFire would attract many new players to TivoliCasino.dk. Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, QuickFire spokesperson was thrilled that TivoliCasino.dk had chosen QuickFire for its launch into the Danish online market. He pointed out that after the first two weeks live, their gaming content was already proving to be popular with Danish players as it has been elsewhere in Europe. QuickFire has also signed up with another online gambling operator, Eurofootball Ltd. Eurofootball Ltd already uses Microgaming's poker offering, and therefore chose QuickFire to provide the well known Microgaming online casino games. Through QuickFire, Eurofootball Ltd will also offer live dealer and mini games for the first time. Eurofootball Ltd presently caters to mainly customers in Eastern Europe. However, the operator is hoping that through the international popularity of Microgaming, they will be able to expand into new geographical areas.
