The game is a big winner, because the theme is very well integrated, the look is very inviting and exciting at the same time, and everything is very crisp and clean. There are enough options, such as the AutoPlay function, through which you can put your game on a virtual "auto-pilot." And of course, the software carries with it the highest degree of safety and security, as is a hallmark of the Microgaming product.

Easy to Understand (8)

As with almost all slot games, most things are rather straightforward, but there are three different bonus games for the player to digest, and that might take some doing. Keep in mind, however, that there are very comprehensive Help files that comes with the Hitman slot game.

Graphics & Sounds (10)

The graphics are very, very slick, and from our observation this is probably one of the sharpest looking of all the slot games that are produced by Microgaming. The interface is especially appealing, and the graphics bring a high degree of functionality to the proceedings. The soundtrack is a particular favorite of ours, and creates an atmosphere of intrigue, but one of the great things about the software is the fact that you can turn adjust and control the game sounds, background sounds, and win sounds, or turn them all off if that's what you want.

Theme and Concept (10)

This is a theme that is probably best known to a younger demographic, but it's still something that can enthrall those not too familiar with it. Hitman is based on a series of video games, known as "stealth games" where the player has to avoid detection. It revolves around the idea of assassins for hire. Cool stuff. And the way the game is designed, it is not hard to feel as though you are very much part of the action.

Game Features (10)

There are three different bonus games available, all of which are triggered by different bonus symbols. A minimum of three Insignia symbols gets you to the Insignia Bonus Game, in which you will select one Insignia symbol that has a random bonus amount behind it. The payout can be as high as 6000 coins. The Free Spins Game is triggered by realizing at least three "18" symbols. And you will get 18 free spins as a result, with regular wins doubled. The Contract Bonus Game has the biggest potential payout. Three or more Mini PC symbols scattered anywhere on Reels 3,4 or 5 will get you into the game. You choose a target, which has a bonus range, then a weapon, which has a multiplier. You can win as high as 270,000 coins with this game.

Betting Options (9)

There is a minimum coin size of .01 with a maximum of 0.25. There are only 15 paylines, which is not unusually high, but the game accommodates a 20-coin maximum, which is excellent. The result is that you can bet up to 300 coins. Click "Bet Max" to do just that.

Jackpots (9)

The top overall bonus jackpot comes in the Contract Bonus Game, and is 270,000 coins, which is obviously eye-popping. The Insignia Bonus Game can pay up to 6000 coins. As far as the regular symbols go, the best is the Sniper, which pays a jackpot of 4000 coins for five in a row on a payline.
