• Dealer hits 16 and stands on ALL 17's, including soft 17.
• Blackjack (two-card total of 21) pays 3-to-2
• Only pairs can be split. In other words, cards that are not pairs but are of the same numerical value (i.e., a Ten and a Jack) can NOT be split.
• There is no re-splitting allowed.
• Doubling down is allowed only on two-card total of 9, 10 or 11.
• Doubling-down after split (DDAS) is not allowed.
• Insurance pays off at 2-to-1.
• Insurance can only be taken if the dealer's upcard is an Ace. Obviously, it is equal to one-half your original amount bet.
• You can receive a maximum of eleven cards in a hand. If you have not exceeded 21 by then, you automatically stand and the dealer plays out his hand (believe me, you won't encounter this often, if at all).
