- Blackjack (two-card total of 21) pays at 3-to-2 odds.
- Pairs can be split, not to mention cards of the same numerical value. In other words, a Jack and a Queen can be split.
- Re-splitting is allowed up to three times to make four hands.
- Doubling down is allowed on ANY two cards.
- Doubling-down after split (DDAS) is allowed.

- Insurance can be taken if the dealer's up card is an Ace. The dealer checks the hole card when the up card is an Ace or ten-value card. Insurance is equal to one-half your original amount bet.
- The player is allowed the option of "late surrender," which means that after the dealer checks for insurance, and all insurance bets have been resolved, you can give up have your bet and throw your cards in rather than be obligated to play out the whole hand and risk losing on a bad hand.
