Full Review - Deuces Wild Video Poker (9.34)
After each win, the player can "double" the amount of the win by picking a card with a higher value that that of the dealer, and many other options exist, including "AutoHold", where the cards are automatically held on behalf of the player according to a pre-programmed, mathematically-sound strategy.
Deuces Wild Video Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, with four deuces in the deck designated as wild cards. All of the cards are shuffled before each and every deal, so they do come out on a random basis.
Configuring the wagers is pretty easy. as you just use the plus (+) and minus (-) controls. They're going to increase or decrease the size or your wager. Clicking "Bet One" that means you are wagering one unit times the coin size, but if you want to bet the maximum, then select "Bet Max.". It's all right in front of you, at the bottom of the interface. When you click "deal," you are dealt five cards. If you do not have the "AutoHold" option activated, you will then have to come to a decision as to which cards to hold and which to let go. At that point you select "Hold," then the "Draw" button, which will give you additional cards that will fill your hand out.
If you want, AutoPlay can completely automate the experience for you, so that you don't have any decisions to make, including placing your bets.
After winning a hand, you've got a chance to increase your winning amount by exercising "Doubling." Five cards wind up being dealt. One of those cards is face-up, which represents the dealer's card, and four of them are face-down, which represent your cards (the player's cards). You select one of the four remaining cards. If it is of a higher value than the face-up card belonging to the dealer, you double your win. Then you have the option of doubling again or simply choosing to collect your winnings.
